About the Author#

Ryan Bose grew up in motion. Every two or three years, his family packed up and landed in a new country. New school, new language, new streets. By the time he learned the shortcuts, it was time to leave again.

All that moving taught him to pay attention. How systems work. How strangers become allies. How every culture invents its own rules for what counts as winning. Those observations became stories long before he found the right form for them.

Then he discovered LitRPG. One book at 2 a.m. Five more by Friday. The genre’s core promise hooked him instantly: growth you can see, effort that compounds, characters who earn every level. It matched something he’d felt his whole life and could finally name. He started writing shortly after and kept going.

When he’s off the clock, Ryan loses badly at board games, experiments with recipes he found online, and takes long walks with his dog, who treats writing deadlines as loose suggestions. He drinks too much coffee, owns too many dice, and believes every good story should leave you wanting one more chapter.
